My design approach is in part conceptual but also draws influence from materials and processes. I am inspired by the combination of images from the natural environment and three-dimensional products.
A degree in 3-Dimsensional design and working as a furniture maker have lead me to design products that are versatile, and designed to enhance the atmosphere/mood of their setting. I aim to make an impact whilst remaining subtle.
The Glo-range launched in Milan, combines the tactile intuitiveness of the artisan where the concept, attributes and textures of the materials and the diffusion of light, meet.

Gala Wright is the designer of the successful Loop Lounger, by outdoor furniture manufacturer CORO. She has also worked with Habitat both on their 2004 'VIP' project and as a freelance designer. Her quietly elegant products convey a sense of lightness without sacrificing strength. This is often achieved by using tension over compression in the designs. Jocelyn works from a London based print/design studio. Initially Jocelyn Warner’s design work was based in textiles, through which she traveled extensively selling paper textile designs in Italy, France, USA and Hong Kong.

Textile projects include selling a range of scarves to Paul Smith, and designing fabric ranges for the Dutch furnishings manufacturers De Ploegstoffen.

Since launching her own product line her designs have had a wide reaching effect; the wallpapers have been featured globally on television from BBC Changing Rooms to Fuji TV Eikoku Seikatsu, favoured by the world press and are held in the prestigious Cooper Hewitt wallpaper collections at the Smithsonian in New York.

Jocelyn’s distinctive style has pioneered the way for a new interpretation of print that fills the needs for the contemporary home.

Curvy Chair, CD Rack and Curvy Bin, three products in birch plywood by John Sprange which explore the material’s versatility, lightness and strength.

John also uses selected hardwoods and reclaimed materials as they become available. He designs and makes stand-alone and site specific furniture to commission at his workshop in Hackney, London. Selected designs from his extensive portfolio are now being developed for batch production. My porcelain, paper clay lamps are made by mixing paper pulp and porcelain clay.

In the firing process the paper burns out leaving a delicate, translucent structure, which suffuses any room with a warm glow.

I make these lamps in various different sizes, shapes and finishes. They work well on their own or in groups.

Loop.pH creates and develops new and reactive surfaces and objects, conducts an extensive range of research activities and collaborates with industry and multi-disciplinary groups.

Through the use of new display technologies Loop.pH have enabled familiar objects and surfaces to take on a new and dynamic dimension, working on site-specific commissions to product design and development. Their work has been exhibited internationally at the furniture fairs in Tokyo, Milan, China, Stockholm, Valencia, Brussels and London.

Loop.pH have developed a range of ambient displays for the home that visualizes information through dynamic pattern and colour, to provide a more intuitive understanding of our natural environment, from day-night cycles to domestic power consumption. Work also explores the physiological effects of light and colour on the individual.
